Calm meditation app doubles value in pandemic as financial backers pile in

The maker of the meditation, sleep and relaxation app Calm has boosted its market valuation to $US2 billion ($2.7 billion) as private equity fund TPG, Goldman Sachs and other investors bet on demand for mental healthcare in the COVID-19 era.
