All aboard: Victorian commuters offered myki discounts and extra trains

Public transport commuters will get a 30 per cent discount on off-peak trips from January next year as the government tries to get people back on trams, buses and trains during less busy periods. But the Ballarat train line will be the biggest beneficiary.
