Saudi Attempts to Win Over Locals in Yemen Stir Anger

Saudi Arabia is funding infrastructure and health projects in Yemen’s east to keep hostile forces, particularly Iran-backed Houthi rebels, from exploiting Yemen’s chaos. But locals bristle over what they call a Saudi “occupation.”
