Drunken girlfriend wouldn't go home, swallowed earrings, assaulted police, authorities say

A Michigan woman who allegedly ate diamond earrings that belonged to her boyfriend's mother, was arrested Saturday for drunkenly assaulting police and grabbing at one of their handguns, reports said Tuesday.
